Peter has practiced law in California for nearly 40 years, specializing in estate planning, including multigenerational wealth transfer strategies, specialized revocable and irrevocable trusts, business succession planning, cross-border issues and charitable giving. He serves as counsel to individuals and families, including business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, private investors and professionals, as well as charitable and non-charitable entities. Peter also has substantial experience in the areas of trust and estate administration, business formation, planning and transactions, and taxation, including estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax, income tax and property tax matters. With a focus on personal attention, Peter serves as family counsel and advisor to a number of clients, providing practical guidance as well as technical legal analysis and advice, and employing creative structures and strategic solutions to achieve a broad range of personal, financial, business and tax objectives in an integrated fashion. In addition to his law practice, Peter is an avid musician and has been playing professionally since high school. From 1995 to 2009, Peter performed as the drummer/percussionist for numerous rock, jazz, latin, country and folk groups in the Bay Area in both live and studio settings.
